Ashtanga Yoga- The Practice Manual, by David Swenson
David’s practice manual is a really handy guide to help you in your home practice. It covers the primary and intermediate series and offers a range of modifications and clear pictures of each pose. It is spiral bound, so sits flat at the top of your mat to assist you during practice.

Manduka Pro yoga mats are slightly more expensive that other yoga mats, but they last decades, particularly when covered by a washable cotton mat.
I practice with a cotton yoga mat. This is washable, feeling more hygienic and making my yoga mat last longer. I also prefer the feel of cotton to mat material as I practice.
A good reminder as to why it’s good to move your body every day!
I also have a reasonable selection of yoga books, which you are welcome to borrow when you come to practice and bring back at the next session.
